The City of Gulf Shores Municipal Run-off Election for City Council Place No. 1 will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Candidates for City Council Place No. 1 are Austin “Coach” Boyd and Joe Garris, Jr.
The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Voting in the run-off election is not contingent upon voting on August 26, 2025. All registered City of Gulf Shores voters are eligible to vote in the run-off election.
Absentee voting is now open. The deadline to apply is September 18, 2025. Applications are available on the City’s website or at the City Clerk’s office (203 Clubhouse Drive, Suite B, Gulf Shores, AL). Voters are encouraged to apply early for an absentee ballot.
