At a recent Council Meeting, Mayor Robert Craft and Gulf Shores City Council proclaimed May 10, 2025, C.A.K.E Day in Gulf Shores! C.A.K.E. stands for Coastal Alabama Kid Entrepreneurs and is an entrepreneurial program for local elementary school students. Through workshops taught by the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber and local businesspeople, students have learned how to successfully start & operate their very own business! On Saturday, May 10, students will take the skills they've learned and put them to the real-world test as they open their businesses to the general public.
