Hurricane Re-entry Decals
Gulf Shores residents should have already received a hurricane re-entry decal for their vehicle. Business may also purchase re-entry placards. In the event of an emergency where areas of Gulf Shores are evacuated, these decals serve to identify those who should be allowed into restricted area(s) at the appropriate time. Re-entry decals can be obtained by residents at City Hall 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Anyone wishing to obtain a re-entry decal must show proof of residency or property ownership in the form of a deed, lease or utility bill along with a valid driver’s license for identification.
In accordance to the City of Gulf Shores Resolution 5642-16, once a Hurricane Warning has been issued for the Gulf Shores Area, re-entry decals are no longer distributed to any residents, businesses or other entities.
