Gulf Shores Public Library Announces the 2021 Summer Reading Program “Tails & Tales”

2021 Summer Reading Program

The Thomas B. Norton Public Library is excited to announce the 2021 Summer Reading Program, "Tails & Tales." The program consists of the following four FREE events that are perfect for children of all ages:

June 4 - 2B Wild West Show 

Adult Activity Center – 260 Clubhouse Drive, Gulf Shores, AL 
10:30 a.m.
Program includes a story about animals, trick roping, the art of the bullwhip, and a trail drive.

June 18 - Freedom Ranch

Adult Activity Center – 260 Clubhouse Drive, Gulf Shores, AL
10:30 a.m.
Program includes quality education, inspiration and adventure with live animals.

July 16 - Animal Tales

Adult Activity Center – 260 Clubhouse Drive, Gulf Shores, AL
10:30 a.m.
Have you ever wondered what animals use their tails for? Mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians all have tails. What is the story behind them? During this program you will learn about different exotic animal tails and how they use them.

July 30 - Michelle’s Magical Poodles

Experience Michelle’s Magical Poodles Show. Fun and quirky dog tricks with an educational twist!

All summer reading program events are free, and no registration is required. In addition to these in-person events, virtual story time sessions will also be available this summer and announced via the library’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/tbnortonpubliclibrary.
