Permanent Exhibits

  • Portrait of a Fishing Village - Created by residents of the Lagoon Village, this exhibit tells of the families who settled the area along the north side of Little Lagoon during the 19th Century.
  • Drawing a Line in the Sand - A commemorative exhibit created as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration for the City of Gulf Shores in 2007. 
  • Hurricanes: What you Need to Know - Guests to the museum can learn about hurricanes, where they originate, the devastation they create, and how a community rebuilds following a hurricane.
