If it’s History you’re looking for, travel back to the past with a visit to the Gulf Shores Museum, where we take pride in our display of the past and our continuing effort to capture images of today for the history of tomorrow. While in Gulf Shores you can take a short drive and visit historical Fort Morgan – The Guardian of Mobile Bay since 1834. Take a ride along Mobile Bay on the Vehicle/Passenger Ferry operating between Dauphin Island and Fort Morgan. Also, in nearby Mobile, Alabama you’ll find the USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park featuring the “Mighty A” which pays tribute to the state’s sons and daughters who have served in the armed forces.
