The City of Gulf Shores Special Events Division has both manned and self-serve venues where you may choose your own caterer, furniture arrangement, and facility access times. The Erie H. Meyer Civic Center is a 11,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with a permanent stage, state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems, as well as commercial kitchen facilities. It will accommodate up to 600 theatre-style or 320 in a banquet setting (240 with dance floor). Our friendly technician is on premises throughout the rental period to ensure that each event runs smoothly.

The Adult Activity Center, adjacent to the Civic Center, is perfect for those occasions where the guest list is smaller or as a breakout space. This self-serve facility features a lobby and a 40'x60' main arena with a theatre-style capacity of 175, banquet seating for up to 125, or classroom seating for 60. It is a great value with use of the kitchen, tables, chairs, and ice included in the basic rental fee. Both rental facilities have other amenities available for on-site use. These include wireless Internet, linens, microphones, and more.
