SPARC Youth Summer Programs

What is offered during SPARC Youth Summer Programs?

SPARC Summer Programs are offered over the course of the summer with one, one-week session and five, two-week sessions. Each of the two-week sessions offer a chance to take part in three of the following program concentrations and Fun Fridays:

Programs are open to youth who have completed grades K - 6.


SPARC Summer Programs registration will be held during our Coastal Community Camp Day on SATURDAY, APRIL 25th, 2015 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Cultural Center-

SPARC Leaders Summer Programs

What is offered during SPARC Leaders Summer Programs?

The SPARC Leaders Summer Program is designed to introduce middle school students to fun, inquiry based science topics, transitioning from middle school to high school and developing life skills such as leadership, communication and team work.

Participants will experience the following while enrolled in the SPARC Leaders Program:

  • Sport Science and Newton’s Law of Motion
  • Marine and Environmental Science
  • Forensic Science and Microbiology
  • Time Management and Transitioning
  • Leadership and Team Building
  • Life Skills and CPR, First Aid and Babysitting Certification
  • Training as a SPARC Junior Counselor

Programs are open to youth who have completed 7th grade or 8th grade
