City of Gulf Shores Releases First Press
Release on Tropical Storm Lee
September 02, 20011
As of 11:00 AM, September 3, the City of Gulf
Shores is flying double-red flags on
the Gulf Shores Public Beaches due to strong
winds and the presence of dangerous rip currents.
We remind you that double-red flags mean that
the water is closed for swimming or any other
water activity. We will continue to monitor
the situation and inform the public when it is
safe to enter the water again.
