The City of Gulf Shores is excited to continue its expanded role as lead organizers for the Gulf Shores Mardi Gras Parade. This history of the Gulf Shores Mardi Gras parade dates back to 1978 when a group of locals decided Gulf Shores needed a parade. Those locals formed the Pleasure Island Players and thus Mardi Gras began in Gulf Shores. A year later the Mystic Order of Shiners joined the Pleasure Island Players to become what is now the oldest parading order in Baldwin County.

During his time and multiple performances on NBC’s The Voice in 2016 Johnny gained thousands of fans, over 2 millions views on YouTube, and received invaluable vocal and performance training from Grammy award winning artists and coaches such as John Legend and Alicia Keys using the platform to reach higher goals.
All Music at Meyer Park concerts are free and open to the public. Shows begin at 6 p.m. at Meyer Park, which is located at 400 E. 22nd Ave. These are rain or shine events.
