Localized flooding roadway conditions exist, evacuation order lifted

City officials are actively assessing impacts from Hurricane Nate. Citizens should be aware that localized flooding conditions exist along many roadways in the Gulf Shores area. All evacuation orders are now lifted, however, motorists are urged not to attempt to drive through any flooded roadways.
 
At this time, flooded roadways include:

  • County Road 6 West
  • Waterway West Boulevard
  • West Canal Drive
  • Wedgewood Drive
  • Bear Creek Cove
  • West 8th, 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd Streets
  • Windmill Ridge Road
  • Streets within the Laguna Key subdivision

Baldwin County EMC is not reporting any significant power outages and Gulf Shores Utilities is not experiencing any interruptions of water or sewer service.
