City of Gulf Shores announces Mardi Gras closures

Please take note of the following City closures for Mardi Gras: 

Administrative offices for the City of Gulf Shores will be closed on Tuesday, March 5, for Mardi Gras. Police, fire, and other emergency services will remain open to ensure public safety and health. Regular operations will resume on Wednesday, March 6, at 8 a.m.
 
The Thomas B. Norton Public Library and the Gulf Shores Museum will be closed Tuesday, March 5. Regular operation hours for the library and museum will resume on Wednesday, March 6.

The Bodenhamer Recreation Center, Cultural Center and Tennis Center will remain business as usual on Tuesday, March 5. The Bodenhamer Recreation Center will open at 5:30 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. The Cultural Center will open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

Republic Services Garbage and Recycling Service will run as scheduled.
 
Yard debris/bulky pickup will not run on Tuesday, March 5. Crews will pick up Tuesday’s debris on Wednesday, March 6, and Thursday, March 7.

The City Store will remain business as usual on Tuesday, March 5. The City Store Flagship is located on the parade route and will be giving official City of Gulf Shores Mardi Gras beads with any $10 purchase.
