City of Gulf Shores announces Thanksgiving closures


As you begin to plan the remainder of your holiday week, please take note of the following closures for Thanksgiving: 

Administrative offices for the City of Gulf Shores will be closed on Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Police, fire, and other emergency services will remain open to ensure public safety and health. Regular operations will resume on Monday, November 26, at 8 a.m.

The City Store will be closed Thursday, November 22, and will resume regular operations on Friday, November 23.
 
The Thomas B. Norton Public Library and the Gulf Shores Museum will be closed Friday, November 22, through Saturday, November 24. Regular hours of operation for the library and museum will resume on Monday, November 26. 

The Bodenhamer Recreation Center, Cultural Center and Tennis Center will be closed on Thursday, November 22, and resume normal business hours on Friday, November 23. 

Republic Services Garbage and Recycling Service will not run on Thursday, November 22. Crews will pick up Thursday’s trash and recycling on Friday, November 23.
 
Yard debris/bulky pickup will not run on Thursday, November 22, or Friday, November 23. Crews will pick up Thursday and Friday’s debris on Monday, November 26.
