The City of Gulf Shores is introducing a new event format, Small Town, Big Beach™ Productions. Each year the City hosts an array of events and entertainment including Music at Meyer Park, Christmas and Mardi Gras Parades, Zydeco & Crawfish Festival as well as the winter Entertainment Series. The City will continue to host a Winter Edition of entertainment, as well as expand to reach a broader audience year round with the addition of entertainment in the spring and summer at the Cultural Center Auditorium.On January 29 and 30 join Brian Gurl and Katherine Alexandra for Moscow Meets Manhattan Dueling Pianos Plus, a unique pairing of "Russian Phenom & American Piano Man." This act has been wowing audiences nationwide for over three years! This class act is rich with brilliant artistry, humor and energy. This dynamic due will thrill you with a repertoire from Rachmaninoff to Ragtime, Billy Joel to Broadway and Gypsy Folk Songs. Each of these shows begins at 7 p.m. at the Erie H. Meyer Civic Center and tickets are $35.February 5 and 6 presents “Jukebox Broadway” starring the Diamonds. This multimedia production includes costume changes, special lighting effects and video footage. The show will feature songs from 15 Broadway "Jukebox Musicals" including: Jersey Boys, Buddy, Grease, All Shook Up, Come Fly With Me, After Midnight and Mama Mia to name a few. It’s Magic! has been delighting magic enthusiasts for more than five decades. This live stage show is unique in that it features many of the top professional magicians worldwide, with each act carefully selected to represent the variety of the art of magic. The 3 Redneck Tenors are a new breed in the “tenor genre” – their musical comedy featuring classically trained veteran artists is like Duck Dynasty goes to Carnegie Hall - down home laughs with big city music! The 3 Redneck Tenors were top finalists on "America's Got Talent" and have been thrilling audiences since 2006. Each of the shows begins at 7 p.m. at the Erie H.
