ID Kids Event set for April 28 at the Cultural Center

The City of Gulf Shores is partnering with Foley Masonic Lodge #766 and Foley Chapter #142 Order of the Eastern Star to present an ID Kids event. The ID Kids Program is a comprehensive child recovery, identification and abduction awareness program offered to parents in Alabama. The ID Kids event is free and for all ages. The event will be held Thursday, April 28 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Cultural Center. The program provides parents and guardians with valuable tools on a CD that include:

  • Full color digital photographs utilizing an array of poses. These are invaluable to the police and media in the case of abductions and for use in the Amber Alert Program.
  • A complete set of digital fingerprints. Everyone’s fingerprints are unique and are utilized regularly for recovery, investigation and identification.
  • Information about the child including: facial features and other distinguishing traits such as hair and eye color, scars, etc.
  • Contact information for parents and guardians.
  • The process takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

The Cultural Center is located in 19470 Oak Road West. For more information contact the Cultural Center at 251-968-9818.
