SPARC Leaders Summer Program

The SPARC Leaders Summer Program is designed to introduce middle school students who have completed 7th grade or 8th grade to fun, educational topics, focusing on transitioning from middle school to high school and developing life skills such as leadership, communication and team work.

Participants will experience the following while enrolled in the SPARC Leaders Program:      


  • Time Management
  • Middle School to High School transition
  • Leadership and Team Building
  • CPR, First Aid and Babysitting Certification
  • Training as a SPARC Junior Counselor
  • Life skills every teen should know

Dates and Fees

The program will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.,

Session 1:
 May 31- June 1
Session 2: June 6-8, 13-15
Session 3: 20-22, 27-29;
Session 4: July 11-13, 18-20
Session 5: 25-27 and August 1-3.

SPARC Summer Youth Programs will be closed from July 4th-July 8th

The Junior Counselors will spend the morning of each day developing their mind and life skills. In the afternoon, the Junior Counselors will develop their leadership skills by assisting SPARC Counselors with the execution of fun and educational youth programming. The cost for the program is $50.
