Ralph Pereda started with the City of Gulf Shores in 2014. Originally from New Jersey, Ralph graduated from Kean University with a degree in Communications. Soon after graduation, he moved to New York City where he became a Recreation Supervisor with the City of New York Department of Parks and Recreation. Ralph has been in the Field of Recreation for over 10 years. Outside of work he enjoys playing soccer, kite surfing and spending time with family and friends.
Amanda Deckard, mother of two, moved to the Gulf Coast in 2011 from Bartlett, Tennessee. While living in Tennessee, she worked for her church's after school, summer camps and mother's day out programs for six years. She also coached cheer-leading to young girls. Amanda furthered her education to be an OR Tech/Phlebotomist and experienced a lot of neat things. She missed working with children, therefore she went back to school to earn her Child Psychology Certificate. She has been working for the City since 2014 and loves every bit of what she does!
