SPARC Mom's Time Out
What is SPARC Mom's Time Out (MTO)?
SPARC MTO is designed to stimulate social interaction and to allow free time to parents of young children. Staff members are devoted to the SPARC mission while delivering fun, hands on experiences for the youth community.
What is offered during SPARC MTO?
MTO will be offered one day a week (Tuesdays) from the hours of 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Gulf Shores Cultural Center. This program will start January 8th and end May 21st. MTO follows the Baldwin County School schedules, when the schools are closed MTO will be closed.
MTO will provide a positive recreational and learning experience for each child. Our goal is to not only give parents a "time-out" but to build social skills for young children. All children will be exposed to age appropriate crafts, power play time (age appropriate fitness classes), story time with Mrs. Amy from the Gulf Shores Library and more!
SPARC MTO is open to children from the ages of 1 and walking to 4 years (3-4 years must be potty-trained at time of registration).
MTO registration may be made at the Cultural Center or Online starting December 1st. The front desk staff at the Cultural Center will be able to assist you Monday-Friday from the hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. If you have any questions you call the Cultural Center front desk at 251-968-9813.
